Thousands gathered in Tokyo's Shibuya Ward yesterday to demonstrate against Japan's nuclear industry, which has lost the confidence of a significant portion of the population in light of the disaster at the Fukushima Daiichi plant.

Police estimated there were in the region of 5,000 in the demonstration, not that passersby would know that – once away from the starting point, the police were quick to split up protesters into multiple, smaller groups.
