The Samurai parade
Its been a while I didn't post some photos here. I am very busy for the moment, but I came to share with you a very cool Matsuri I ve seen on monday.
This Matsuri is held in Odawara, near Tokyo, (1hour and 30 min from shinjuku I think) where thousand of people with Samurai armor make a reconstitution of the great period of Odawara..
Samurai, horse, ninja, soldiers,… A place to visit to go back to the past.
I have tons of photos and video, so I made a tiny selection to show you.. if you want more, please visit www.lifeyou.tv ( I will update the site during the next days)
So first, here is a video of a little part of the parade:
I found a very nice place to take video and photos at less then a meter from the parade.. at the end of the city tour ( so the samurai are certainly tired ^^ ), but at this place it was not full of people.. you will see on the photos bellow place with million of people.

All the politicians from Odawara were also playing the game

Some ninja

beautiful woman

Some traditional mikoshi that you can see in most of the Matsuri

a lot of people! I took more then 2 hours to cross this place.. ( needed only 10min in the early morning when everybody didn t arrived yet)

funny samurai

some people seems to really came from the past
