In April this year I had the pleasure to do a Photographic shoot for Michal Sobkowiak, renowned Polish classical musician who resides in Tokyo. The shoot was for his latest CD and Composition, "Letter To Chopin".
Michal pays homage to Frederic Chopin on this Bi-centennial anniversary of his life and death, through a letter written in music and played on the piano and various other instruments, all played in a style indicative to Chopin. Michal has composed nine paraphrases based on Chopin's Mazurkas.
The Photographs were taken over looking the Tokyo Tower with Michal writing a letter to Chopin, in the foreground of the Tokyo landscape . Using various techniques I was able to get a great result of Tokyo at Twilight and at Night.
